Naruto

Some says dragon ball was the reason manga industry become popular in the world. but i say it was naruto.
the first ever manga i liked was naruto. why? because it was a story of ninjas, like wizards and witches from which we got harry potter, there was nothing new to the concept but it included everything about magic. same is like with naruto. it has the same basic concept of ninjas but in the most interesting way that you would begin to like it..

There are so many shounen nominated, so i want to suggest a Seinen: Oyasumi Punpun. Asano Inio made a fantastic piece here, maybe my favourite manga.

I support Dragonball - Its the manga which brought me to this world. Honestly Im not sure If I would be reading manga today if it wasn't for DB. I spend my childhood with this series, I have only positive memories. Very nostalgic. It clearly deserves more credit.

I'd like to support Vagabond for Best Overall Manga.

From my viewpoint, it deserves the title, on par with Hunter X Hunter and Akira. And it is the climax of Inoue's drawing/painting, which I love.

As the one who wrote a recommendation for it, I will support Mushishi so that it can go directly to the final without tie vote :-)

I'm going to nominate Hunter X Hunter.

From characters to techniques, from arcs to art (Mostly, we all know how lazy Togashi is) HxH has proven to be superior to every other manga out there. Even for being a Shounen is actually quite violent and mature in some aspects, handles pretty well the emotions and reactions of the characters and above all the fights are always consistent with the rules of the world imposed in the first place.
I'm nominating hunter x hunter as well.
This was a really tough choice, I like a lot of mangas out there but I believe that hxh could be among the big three if it wasn't for those damn hiatuses. To be honest, if it was still on hold, I would have probably nominated another series just out of spite to the author^^'

It made my heart cry to choose between HxH and FMA.... But since FMA is completed and it is already a masterpiece I had to give it my vote.

Even though FMA is finished and the world and characters are awesome, Berserk still has a greater vibe to it...it's best in its category as Fantasy, Adventure and Action goes IMO, just because of the richness of the world and the epic journey of the character...but recognizing the story-telling capability of Miura is what pushes this one to the top in this category

I would go with Dragonball here. It's the manga I actually associate not only all Shounen manga, but also every manga. It's actually the one that made manga popular all over the world.
And also as for me I really like long stories as Dragonball was and of course I like Goku.:)

Berserk - Despite a rather meh start, it built up to be incredibly epic dark fantasy.
Naruto - Good shonen that I still like, but just doesn't strike like it used to.
Fullmetal Alchemist - Amazing. Compact, well built, interesting, great cast of characters.
Dragonball - Classic. Loved the earlier arcs, but it just dragged.
Mushishi - My vote. I just love the eerie mysterious athmosphere. The episodic structure works perfectly for this concept. Which makes it enjoyable not only as a whole series, but by chapter-by-chapter basis. I just love how this manga feels.
