Anyway, I nominate Naruto. Unlike most people, I don't like my manga being on a 30-week vacation every year.

Nor do I like the arc after the timeskip being mostly boring,but thankfully THIS manga can't be nominated again. \o/

I can't believe there's only been a single nomination for this amazing series, so I will second the nomination for Fullmetal Alchemist.

Shingeki no Kyojin has been great so far, but I still feel it's a little premature to accord it so high praise as "best shounen". I love the world Arakawa-sensei created in FMA, I love the characters and I love the storytelling. I just re-read some parts of it recently and I've still got to say this is one of the best manga I've ever read.

Simply cause it's the best ongoing shounen manga.

I nominate Histories Strongest Disciple Kenichi for best Shounen.

Having the best shounen representation of the weak guy becoming powerfull and having the strenght to fight for what he believes in , actually getting somewhere with the girls he loves on(unlike many others) and ofcourse the fan service.

So many great shounens out there, but Karakuri Circus is an exceptional yet underrated one. Some might feel the artworks awkward, but the plot is very interesting and somehow, original. I nominated Karakuri Circus for best shounen.

I nominate Toriko for best shounen. A series full of testosterone which I think makes it a great shounen series.

As with desu, I'm also shocked FMA hasn't been mentioned more.

As much as I would like to vote for Naruto, I can't because it hasn't been the best this year for me. Many chapters have made me go . Dragon Ball was amazing, much better than most manga named, and as much as I love Beelzebub, there was some chapters I didn't like. So it's a tossup between Dragon Ball and FMA, but I would have to go with FMA as it has had superior story.

And none of that lazy mangaka stuff.

I'm here to troll Milly and nominating Hunter X Hunter as best Shounen since I can't vote for One Piece.

Why? Aside the Hiatuses it reaches a level of action and storytelling hard to see in other mangas. And most characters have an incredible amount of charisma, something that also fits the theme of Hunters. Above all is a manga who doesn't disrupt its own diegesis as mangas like Bleach or Naruto. And I'm not trolling here, I like also those two but...We all know it's true.
