Funny, I'm more interested in the result of the tie than the result of the final vote :-)
I voted for Shingeki no Kyojin, Fairy Tail is funny if not taken seriously but awards are serious stuff :-). Between Toriko and Shingeki the decision is hard. I voted for the originality.

Yeah... It was hard because Toriko really has a shounen soul, sometimes it reminds me of Dragon ball nostalgia.... But shingeki is the better manga i think. Maybe I change my mind later, but i already voted now.

Among the list in the poll I would go with Naruto.

HxH is a shounen with a lot of elements coming from seinen (complexity, deaths, negative emotions & outcome,...)
And it's IMO also true about Shingeki no kyojin & FMA

So, following my own perception, the only "true shounen" here are Gamaran & Naruto. Even if as a whole, I should vote for Naruto, the manga disappointed me too much post-timeskip. I had very high expectations which were not met.

I had not high expectations for Gamaran but those unexpected expectations were met !!! Plus, everyone knows about Naruto & I feel that Gamaran deserves to be well known as well.
