I do know Pariston isn't considered the "good guy" in the manga. Just couldn't link him to being an evil guy, a villain (like Doflamingo and such). But it's all clear up now. As long as the nominated character is an antagonist, we will accept.

I've read from the very start the topic as "antagonist", instead of "villain" as a "villain" is sometimes very hard to define and many characters villain/evil side is questionable (see here an interesting article about Yagami Light : http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/fea...ars-of-death-note-is-light-the-bad-guy/.99957), also many chars were villains at the beginning and changed gradually and conversely. yeah an antogonist is not necessary or conspiciously evil (his evilness can be subtle and undetectable if he is), but the point is that in the narrative he's opposed to the protagonist(s). Here's an essay from Janice Hardy : http://blog.janicehardy.com/2013/07/10-traits-of-strong-antagonist.html she's pointing out 10 traits that make a strong/ great antagonist, and see how Pariston fits perfectly.

Also if any of my nomination is wrong I will apologize and will gladly remove it , but to me it's obvious that Pariston is definetly an antagonist and arguably a villain, considering some points (and it's attested from the very start that he has some ties with underworld, so quite similar to Joker aka Mingo and that he's scheming some seemingly wicked plans), that's why I didn't understand why his nominataion is even debatable.
