Reviving a kind-of old thread, but in a couple months the Sekaiichi Hatsukoi anime will be airing~~~ I must admit, Junjou Romantica was a guilty pleasure for me and I absolutely love Nakamura-sensei. Can't wait! X3

Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi Gets 2nd TV Anime Season Green-Lit

Shungiku Nakamura's boys-love manga also inspired 2 original anime DVDs

The September issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Asuka Ciel magazine is announcing this Saturday that a second television anime season based on Shungiku Nakamura's Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi manga has been green-lit.

The main story follows the tension between a newly recruited manga editor (Takashi Kondo) and his tyrannical editor-in-chief (Katsuyuki Konishi) — who happen to share a common past.

The manga already inspired a television anime season and two original anime DVDs that came with the fifth and sixth manga volumes. The media distribution site Crunchyroll has been streaming the first anime season outside Japan since it premiered in Japan in April.

Latest anime from Junjō Romantica/Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi creator Shungiku Nakamura

The September issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Asuka Ciel magazine is announcing this Saturday that Shungiku Nakamura's Hybrid Child boys-love manga has an anime in the works. The manga recounts short stories about the Hybrid Child, a line of units that are neither all-android nor all-human.

Seiji Biblos first serialized the manga in Be x Boy Gold magazine from 2003 to 2004, and Kadokawa Shoten later published the one-volume manga in 2008. Digital Manga Publishing released the manga in North America. Nakamura's Junjō Romantica and Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi ~Onodera Ritsu no Baai~ manga already inspired anime projects of their own.

I love BL so much its a obession I even write romances with only guys in it my favorite and first BL was GRAVITION!!!!

I had no clue about guy and guy romance than I was only 11 and than I fell in love with it

Than I found YAOI and it was a moment

but I love it and I would love to make my own BL MANga!!!!

My first yaoi was Junjou Romantica in 2009. I tried to seek yaoi at youtube to understand it better and i found an AMV. It was pure love after that.

There is another Boys Love anime around: Number 6 (No. 6). The BL thing is still very weak, people are saying that only on episode 4 it happened. I will make a thread for it with links after dinner.

i think my first yaoi anime was also Gravitation. then i got hooked with yaoi manga. i love junjou romantica also sex pistols. theres also hey class president, okane ga nai, loveless and togai no chi.

New Ai no Kusabi Boys-Love Anime Relisted for 2012

The store chain Kinokuniya is listing the first Blu-ray/DVD volume from the new Ai no Kusabi video anime series for release on January 18, 2012. The new adaptation of Rieko Yoshihara's Ai no Kusabi boys-love novels was announced in 2008, more than 20 years after the novels' first publication. However, a preview event was cancelled in March of last year "due to various circumstances," and no further updates were made in the last 17 months.

New Shungiku Nakamura Anime Project Announced

Anime in the works is not the previously announced Hybrid Child boys-love anime

The April issue of Kadokawa Group Publishing's Ciel Trés Trés magazine is announcing on Wednesday that there is a new anime from boys-love manga creator Shungiku Nakamura in the works.

According to a copy of the magazine issue that ANN obtained, "the 'new anime' in production that is being announced is not Hybrid Child." The magazine already announced a Hybrid Child anime project last July. While Ciel Trés Trés says that the new anime is "still secret," more details will be announced in the next issue of the magazine on March 30.

Boys-Love Story Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi Gets Anime Film

Cast for film based on Shungiku Nakamura's manga to be announced on August 1

The wraparound jacket band on the fourth volume of Miyako Fujisaki and Shungiku Nakamura's Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi: Yokozawa Takafumi no Baai light novel series is announcing on Saturday that an anime film adaptation of the Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi franchise has been green-lit. The cast is scheduled to be announced on August 1 in the eighth volume of Nakamura's original Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi ~Onodera Ritsu no Baai~ manga.

Wow. If it goes to theaters for real, it might be the very first Boys Love animated movie to do so in history.
I really don't remember any other case. I only know OVAs and TV anime so far.

People said it was BL and the in the opening it stated as gay anime.. I'm shocked coz I thought it was just another shoujo with male lead..
It's about swimming, so you should know you can see lots of them half naked.. They are all good looking which is a plus!
There's only 1 episode for now but so far it was good..
