I'm not sure why, but Kirby just never crossed my mind for having a manga adaptation. Taking a moment to think about it, the series itself could lend itself to a wide variety of interesting stories, so that makes more sense once the shock wore off

I mean, it had a 200 episode anime as well, or something like that.

Corocoro have such a big boost because of the nintendo and level-5 collaborations. The last issue alone sold a loooot more because of the exclusive code for some Splatoon in-game costume.

Also lately Corocoro is doing collabo with Girls und Panzer and they publish some sort of spin off series in Aniki.

a great achievement, a successful original manga not based on anything in CoroCoro is pretty rare itself
