If Jellal is Laxus lvl, plus he is more versatile, he should take it maybe mid to high dif.
Erza vs Laxus was boring. Laxus stood at one place most of the fight and took hits despite he could just blow her armor to nothing with regular punches.
Jellal is not so durable, and I don't think he is stronger in attack power, but he can use some useful magic.

Erza was holding back to the blades of fire - ice, a blow that if Erza went seriously could have defeated Laxus on the spot or left him much more injured.
The words are said by Laxus himself, there is no need to look for excuses.
That puts Erza at an even worse disadvantage than losing Laxus a little magic.

Thus, the author put double ko at the end of the battle, so it is double ko for both, inventing the victory of one and taking away the victory of another is ridiculous and disrespectful towards the author's words, and I go to what he says in the manga, which is double ko.

Laxus said that he was in the same condition as Erza, so he also acknowledged losing too, no need to look for unnecessary excuses, please.

Kyria who saw the match said that they both knocked out each other, so they both beat each other, not just one.

The excuses of who gets up first is separate, it only means that Laxus is more resistant, but that does not remove the fact that he also lost the fight as well.
But in the manga Laxus woke up with the other companions when his magical power was restored by the WW.

Jellal takes it high-extreme diff

Laxus himself stated a fight against him wouldn't end good for either one of them. Basically saying Jellal = Laxus or around each other.

Now looking at actual feats, Jellal is more durable than Erza being one of the only ones to come out unscathed by one of Kyria's attacks, the other being Laxus. He's insanely fast, arguably the fastest character in the series (ignoring God tiers), he gave Acno trouble with his speed which speaks volumes and even pushed him. He obviously has the AP to hurt Erza, either be using meteor and ramming her , Grand Chariot, or Sema. He could play it smart too and bind her with Bind Snake, by distracting her with a thought projection. Either way, it's obvious Jellal can hurt her.

Looking at portrayal, feats and ignoring times when he's hard countered (August the bane of almost all mages) or blind sided (Neinhart), it's clear Jellal is at Erza/Laxus tier if not higher looking at his feats against Acno when he's going all out.

Jellal is strong but currently below both Laxus and her by some mergin in nearly all stats. The gap is great if she takes this fight seriously but I think she will hold back like she did with Laxus, a friend under control. Jellal is her Love so she won't use all her strength and I expect Jellal to do the same.

She still win. Jellal can't take down her durability even if she is more defensive than offensive against him. Even all Laxus's Red Lightning couldn't before exaustion. Laxus's red Lightning strikes harder than Jellal.

Yeah, for the bind snake, it's easy to trap her both off guard. In a competition where she is focus on him, it's different.

erza wins, jellal got no diffed by august. sure irene was holding back against erza but she was holding back about the same amount that august was holding back against gildarts (august was giving more effort in his gidarts fight then CM fight) and erza did some hits on irene and thats still better then getting no diffed by august llol.

Y’all really have your own version of the fight. Erza needed to use Natsu and Grey’s powers to stand on par with Laxus, and he still hit her back with a stronger attack than she mustered up. Laxus literally tanked her major slash and then told her it WASNT ENOUGH. People really focused on it as though it was Erza having this great ease and suddenly Laxus had to step up. Laxus was knocking Erza around and had to warn her she stood no chance fighting like that. She used her Lightning armor, he trashed it. She used her new DS seal, he busted out a whole new mode, She used her new enchanter skills, and he simply hit her back harder. Laxus spent the entire fight upping the ante on Erza. He big brothered her, anything you can do. I can do better. So much so that she gave a speech about how his power returned the feeling of safety Erza lost back when Makarov fell to that sneak attack against Phantom Lord. An you all take him replying that he’ll beat her next time as some admission of loss, as opposed to a cocky big brother telling her it will never happen. An then he’s back up and fighting with Erza on his back. He’s protecting her even after Jellal arrives because she’s messed up, while he’s inconvenienced, and he took sword strokes as opposed to punches and kicks.

I say all of this to point out, if we aren’t fighting in character, just showing up and cutting loose, Jellal is closer to Laxus than she is, and it’s his fight to lose. Love her though.

Right now, I'm leaning toward Erza, like bugen says, x793 Erza = x793 Laxus and no Laxus didn't won the fight as both of them ran out of MP leading to a double KO.

Both knows each other very well but Erza got hidden new spells in her arsenal while we already know Jellal's game, which could be an important factor.

Jellal always seemed to be on the level of Laxus, so I would have liked a vs between these two.

But in Erza vs Jellal, she defeated Jellal when he was possessed, she used strategy and managed to deceive him.
