1)It is a dark plot with full thriller like qualities,Awesome story,originally i wanted Mashima to write a story like TPN in Edens Zero.We enjoy the dark atmosphere in this story

The Promised Neverland

Emma, our happy-go-lucky main character, spends her days at the orphange, the place she sees as her home alongside all her "siblings". All the kids spend a wonderful life there: playing all day, eating delicious food, receiving a deep maternal love from their "Mama", having an exceptional education by taking IQ tests and... wait. That's when the reader notes something is off there. And Emma, Ray and Norman (alongside the rest of the kids) will learn later horrible truths that will just grow worse and worse the more they discover.
This manga touches the themes of "home", "friendship" and "power" in a far different, deep and dark way than Fairy Tail. The protagonists aren't teenagers or adults, they're children that have to learn the truth about their world without any help or love from adults; the so loved home becomes the enemy; the friendship and love for brothers and sisters take a different way knowing that each one of them have to survive at all costs; and here, no one posses some powerful magic or powers to defend themselves.

Characters here develop because they have to overcome and accept the tragedy of their life, and a reminder that we're talking about children, which we see growing up trough the story.
The tension in the plot is great, it never gets repetitive due to the fact that readers will follow each clue about the "truths" and ways of surviving alongside the characters.

This isn't a long-run shonen, but is a pretty mature one considering the amount of chapters and the quality of plot and characters.

Nope.
Though, Sky's campaign last round was really insightful and it gave a new perspective on the manga

But at the end of the day, as someone who has read both of these series, TPN is far better.
