Choosing between Jean and Satoshi is hard, ignoring looks, I guess Ill go with Jean, Jean for being the wise one in Attack on Titan and really making it something special with his commentary, approach to decision making. The writers did a great job with his character and made him the one that everyone wanted to support and always support.

I'm not really impressed by either option. Jean is a nice character, but hardly one I'd describe as my favorite. Yoichi was a great character, but he feels irrelevant to anime in 2013. He's still the better character, so I voted for Yoichi. I'll vote Rider in the finals, no matter who wins the tiebreak.

I'm not really a big fan of either character. Both series had supporting male characters more deserving of nomination. I like Fate/Zero more, so I voted for Rider.

Jean gets my choice, Rider came across as more of a gimmicky type of character that people seemed to latch onto for some reason. I guess he was the breath of fresh air in a serious full of ultra serious characters (spare Gilgamesh, and Waver).
