Well, the last two days of groups (next weekend) are going to be starting 3 hours earlier for some reason.

The thing with this tourney so far is, I don't get why Jayce is being picked so often. It's 3-1 or something at this point, but the buffs in 6.17 don't really seem to enhance Jayce's strengths in the tourney so far. It made his all-in stronger, but did nothing for why he seems to be picked (his poke, basically an alternate to Varus). And since no one is building Manamune on him anymore, I'm not sure how useful his poke is with limited resources.

stopped watching FW - C9, at 50mn. game got so boring, both team derping. FW dragged it so much, 2 baron, big gold lead all game long but they couldn't close it they deserved to lose. wasn't surprised when i saw that the game got to 70mn

Jayce has been picked at least 4 times (2 games Top, 2 games Mid), won 3. It was banned by INTZ against EDG, and TSM banned it against RNG and Samsung. That's the stats that I can see so far.

Darshan has played Poppy twice, and I think EDG played it once too.

The Syndra pick is a bit weird to me too, but I guess it's because she's a decent blind pick in this meta. They've been buffing her steadily ever since her update too. Kennen works because laneswaps no longer exist and Protobelt seems pretty broken on him.

Well, I was just memeing because despite Meteos being super ineffective for a lot of the game, he's pretty much the reason they won at the end with the ratting tactics. Sort of reminded me of Hai's Zed when they beat Najin White Shield in Season 4 Worlds. :lmao

It's not overnight. My point isn't when it was convenient for specific individuals, only the times in which most people are usually awake. If Riot didn't give priority to Asian timezones when scheduling Worlds, the broadcast would be starting at 2-4am where you are. That way, it wouldn't be starting past midnight for most of Europe, and Season 4 would have taken place much earlier in the day in Asia so it didn't air in the middle of the night for viewers in most of the Western Hemisphere.

I mean, it's obvious. Tencent owns Riot. Their largest viewing audience is in China. Worlds and MSI are probably not going to ever be airing at 1-3am in Asian timezones, regardless of where it's held.

kinda disappointed by EU team overall, only H2K got a win. i hope they can bounce back this week, i miss the gambit/fnatic era. look like EU level dropped a lot
