Yes interpretation is important. I thought he was implying his role had to be triggered by outisde forces. I would not class Apprentice as passive since there's night action involved. How did you interpret it? Did Apprentice make your list of possible roles from the hint he gave?

I thought Pirate. But after his death and reveal, some of his older posts made more sense. Also considered Prosecutor because of his last post, since he might not have been aware of the time limit. He even forgot about the locked votes.

He also stated that he wasn't a Bomb.

Here is my noob theory about why town feels strong (before seeing the setup).

The only game I ever tried to balance was:
Town: Detective, Doctor, Vanilla, Vanilla, Vanilla, Vanilla...
Mafia: Poisoner, Escort (with mechanic making the 2 roles as one)

If instead of vanilla I used sicky and healthy town and persecutor and all the awesome roles in the rule thread.
It would have made it impossible for mafia, as everyday someone claims something, not counting any lucky town confirmation from lynches.

Pointing this out for next time I spawn mafia, go easy on me please xD
