That was our intention, but fortunately the nominations were so diverse. We're trying to adopt as many option as possible here during the first period of voting. After the first period of voting ended, then only 5 nominees which gather the highest number of votes could advance to the next round of voting.

What did you mean by visualize? If you meant to reveal the number of votes received, we are trying to give all the member surprises here, sorry. We might consider to reveal the numbers of vote received, but only after the Anime awards second phase of voting has ended.

Most categories will have the five finalists, if you see a poll with more than that's because of a tie in both votes and supporters in the nomination phase.

A friendly reminder: Remember that you only have one vote during this final voting phase of Anime Awards. The duration until the polls ended is also two weeks, a decent amount of time to familiarize yourself with the top 5 nominees. In most categories, we linked the poll available to the MAL site, so you will be able to see the synopsis of that series.

Hmm, so many winners that i do not agree with, HxH being the best anime, DB being the best classic, Beelzebub as best comedy and so forth. I was happy to see SAO as most disappointing series though, it definitely deserves it.
