Fate/Apocrypha --> didnt have the strenght to advance even past the 4th or 5th episode, dont remember
Black Clover --> a complete mockery to a manga im very fond of.

This is pretty tough. I don't get the hate on Fate/Apocrypha. I thought that show was good. But I could totally understand if it didn't live up to the novel it's adapted from(which I didn't read). The rest though all have really good arguments. In the end though...

Dies Irae was clearly the worst anime I watched this year. So I got to put it in there.

Sword Oratoria was just a mindbogglingly terrible adaptation of the LN. It's something where you just keep asking yourself "What were they thinking?" the whole time. So that's going to be my second vote.

I like Fate but the plot had some ass pulls and some crappy animation in parts. Overall it was really good but the inconsistencies made it a disappointment :sad

Yeah, being disappointing is different than being bad, imo. You can get disappointed with something that is still good, but failed to meet your expectations, didn't deliver in some aspects. The more people expect from an uber known title, the easier to get frustrated.

Definitely Virgin Soul and Oratoria. These two series made my blood boil... My expectations weren't particularly high for the other series but JC Staff's work on SnS was better for S1 and S2. It was still fun though.

I only watched Black Clover out of the nominations
So it definitely gets my vote.

For the second vote, I'll just go with Dies Irae because I heard it was hyped but was a complete let down for fans.

Dies Irae and Sword Oratoria weren't as entertaining as I thought...
The former had an interesting concept, but kinda had the feeling that they compressed too many things in it..
The latter, well, it was interesting to see the story from Ai's POV, but other than that, meh.

Black Clover is of course getting my vote here. An absolute mockery and sad adaptation of a manga that im very fond of and love. Studio Pierrot did it again, and ruined everything,
For my other vote, i will go with Fate/apocrypha. It wasnt that bad, but it was a disappointment, and i havent seen other stuff to judge, well i have see Virgin Soul but that was actually my fav show in 2017 (i know, a very controversial opinion, kill me :smile-big

)

i must have slept under a rock or something, during 2017. The other day i went to see reviews for Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul and I never knew it was hated that much. I never bothered to read reviews for some reason, since i loved the show very much. For sure Genesis is still better and is one of my fav anime ever, but i thought and still think that, that Virgin Soul is pretty awesome. Its a very bold anime with a different story compared to Genesis. I wont deny the flaws since im now more familiar with the them, but those flaws wont change my mind about this anime, i still love it (i guess im a very odd one in this case

dont judge me lmao).
