I came across a twitt a couple of hours ago, saying that Uta was adopted by shanks but it's no longer existing so I dont know if its legit, Id be happy if he raised her as his child, that would be the better/most satisfying version.

also here some ad in my city, Op movie is advertized everywhere, in buses like this, in subways stations etc. lately anime and manga got a lot more exposure.

Which also means Mihawk wasn't capable of fully utilizing CoO when dueling him, and apparently Shanks was already worth more than a billion back then.

I'm super hyped to see Shanks show off in this movie, but of course this also elevates my need to see Mihawk show off as well when the time comes.

I need to see this movie.

Shanks was the baby Roger was alluding to when he told Ray that it was nice having a baby around again! Back during the flashback!!!!!

Nice to see my faith in a fictional character paying off so spectacularly. Only this just raises his death flags all the more. A character as powerful as Shanks with no more secrets to reveal is basically pointless to the ending of the series. Looks like BB will indeed kill our Red Haired King... and it will be the noblest of sacrifices!

Honestly it's fitting Shanks being a CD. With BB being his nemesis who's a D.

Nope. There's G5 but no Yamato. Which means the movie can't be fit into the timeline.

The info about Shanks is nice, but I would've preferred this being dropped in the manga rather than in a movie.

Anyway, I think Shanks might be a Tenryubito. I don't believe he is related to Rocks as BB seems destined for that instead.

I like the info about Shanks because at least it feels like he wasn't used just for fanservice. There is something of value for manga readers.

The most annoying thing to me is that Shanks is now among the numerous characters with a fire ability... Why does Oda love fire so much?

I seriously doubt BB is related to Rox. Definitely has inherited his will, but "inherited will" doesn't have to- and in fact is usually better if it doesn't- come from blood relation. That almost always cheapens the story. In fact there's no shortage of characters who reject their blood relations and inherit a will from elsewhere.

As powerful as Shanks's haki might be, somehow Blackbeard figured out his weakness and proved it with a permanent scar on his face. Interested to see these to have their rematch as their battle will probably be a big shift in the overall final saga of One Piece.
