Heh, I just bought a new Tower a couple of weeks ago, too. My 3 hard drives (totalling almost 800GB) died out on me at once. So I had to start from scratch.

Just my luck, yesterday my new tower's Video card (a nVidia GT240) got burnt so now I had to wait for it to be replaced (3 weeks). I salvaged my old vid (8600GT) card but it's just not good enough when I was already getting acquainted with the GT240.

I think the heat's doing something to my PCs.

Blame the companies that make them too. The bastards only make them to have a regular life span in their environment. I remeber having to use my XPS in an a/c room just to prevent it from heating up, but when the electricity bills started to pile up, I was forced to do without the a/c... Resulting in the RAM to melt (which I replaced), followed by the LCD (which costs 30k to replace...so fuck that), followed by the GPU (another 30k...fuck it). I eventually just bought another laptop along with a laptop cooler...for about half the price of the XPS (and with better specs...damn technology).

I told myself that I'd never upgrade my desk top unless I have the money to use liquid cooling... so it's gonna take a long time.

Why does your GPU cost 30k? Very good ones won't even breach 3k nowadays (those with 1GB DDR5 memory).

Dell XPS M1710 gaming laptop. Laptop parts are always more expensive...sadly...

my laptop's gone to the service center. diagnosis will cost me 600, then repair = 1,500 labor + price of part to be replaced.

All gaming/performance laptops have heating issues...in the Philippines.

I always pick multimedia performance laptops over gaming laptops any day. Why? It doesn't sound harsh to the stern parent's ears.

I lasted for about two years... If only I was wise enough to buy a cooling pad...sigh...

I'm using an HP Pavilion dv7 now... It costs half the Dell XPS and has twice the specs... progress has fucked me in the ass once again.

I hope it is... I don't want it to drag on any more that it already has. I love the Naruto manga, but I'd hate to see it go through another "writer's block" phase.

Bleach, though, has only two arcs left, according to the author.

EDIT: Oh, and lol at Riki-Oh. Japanese Guro can be a whole lot funnier at times too, (i.e. Machine Girl). Makes up for me getting annoyed by overblown gore. I didn't realize that the barbarian from Ip Man was Riki until now.

Well, I wouldn't say the best fight scene, I still like Ip Man's fights over that. But in terms of sheer gross hilarity it would be up there. Have you seen Machine Girl, BB?

Oh, and on the Bathroom Dance, I couldn't freakin stop staring at the backup dancers. The reason is a mixture of wondering whether some of them were gay and just plain wondering who they were. Were they Bubble Gang cast members or just random GMA dancers?

best fight scene goes to hit-girl in kick-ass movie. felt like i'm watching from an fps perspective.

how bout Mr. and Mrs. Smith fight scenes? those were awesome and original. After that I saw The Losers' fight scene and I thought, what a ripoff.
