Well... if you don't know the anime I ll just try to explain you this pic with minimal spoils :

he's basically trying to avoid to use his sword against her (if my memory serves me well) while she's insanely strong and brutal she's basically on the verge of killing everyone else, he has no other choice than neutralizing her (he's stronger than her though) but let's just say she's not really a woman.

Im gkad you are not Juvia because you fail to see what Gray has brought in her life. How much he cares for her, how much he has sacrificed his life for her. It was because of Gray that Juvia was given a new lease in her life. You wouldbt know that because you dont know jackshit about Gray and Gruvia.
