Four score and an unknowable number of years ago. A man had a dream. A dream about the celebration of the pinnacles of human literary creation. Waifus. These lovely female character's, and Oscar, come in all shapes and sizes (as proven by @Gallon with Lola). All colors and creeds. Our love and our passion for them unite us. And so with this contest we celebrate how they entertain and inspire us. How they teach us about each other and about ourselves.
However, this wondrous dream was but the prelude to a nightmare. For what that man could never have foreseen was that people are morons (as proven by @Gallon with Lola). And so love turns to hate. Unity to division. Reason to madness. Acceptance to prejudice. All hidden beneath the thin veneer of grace, elegance. and good sportsmanship. Leading to many into the delusional belief that this nightmare is in fact still that lovely dream. And so we must cast salty truth upon this sugary lie. Revealing the truth that only OUR waifu is truly worthy and the rest are trash fed swine.
I cannot thank you all for giving me this title of Salt Lord because it is a title earned through failure. Our community's failure in not carrying LLENN and Androssi to victory in a parade of adoration. @Sky's failure in nominating the wrong Aqua instead of Rem. And my failure in not being fast enough to develop brainwashing technology.
