Shiva, the God of Destruction, and Rudra, the God of Storms, were low-class gods living in the Indian countryside. All the other gods around them laughed at them for aiming for the summit of the Hindu world. However, they kept on going, and took down a large number of gods. Each time they did, their monikers and duties increased. With the defeats of gods like Indra, Brahma, and Vishnu, the legends from the Vedas were born. After beating 1115 gods, the two of them stood at the top of the Hindu world. However, Rudra had hoped that only one god would stand supreme. In the end, he asks Shiva to fight with him. Shiva, crying because this means fighting his best friend, accepts the challenge. The battle is intense, but Shiva gradually gains the upper hand. Worried that Rudra might die if they keep up any longer, Shiva decides to throw the match and call it his loss. However, just before he can get the words out, Rudra says, "I give." It's very difficult for Rudra to throw in the towel. Thus, Shiva stands alone at the top of the 1116 Hindu gods. However, in exchange, Rudra disappears from the Hindu world. Even while he's fighting in the ring with Raiden, Shiva is burdened by his memories of Rudra. All the Hindu gods are watching Shiva's match. Rudra is among them...

This was a nice flashback chapter. I am afraid Shiva might get too excited which leads him to overwhelm Raiden.

If Shiva wins it'll be what I expected anyways. If the gods lose 3 in a row Odin and Zeus will just solo everyone themselves.

Really Man i want a spin off of Shiva and Rudra and their adventures and fights from what it looks like we missed some awesome lore and major fights in this background, I was really excited to see more of those other Indian gods
