Spoiler: Chap 55 Summary

With Buddha's victory, the stars have evened out and Brunnhilde is ready to take the fight to the next level. Buddha is taken to the infirmary, where he is said to be in good condition.

Brunnhilde came to choose her next fighter, but when she entered the room, for some reason there was another Brunhilde...... BUT IT'S NOT LIKE THAT, her real identity of that little guy is Nostradamus.

NOSTRADAMUS TOLD HER THAT THE GODS WILL WIN RAGNAROK.

It's a good way to make sure he makes the most of his turn, but this little guy is very dangerous, apparently, he was in the underworld for his crimes ......

Meanwhile, it turns out that the fighter on the side of the gods in the seventh round is Hades.

Nostradamus asks Brunhilde to give him permission to fight.

When Brunnhilde hears him, she denies his request, and he says that his turn is still too far away, as there is an opponent for Hades, and decides to bring out the only human who can compete against him, someone who was the first emperor, a fighter from China....

A man enters the VIP section on the gods' side, where Ares and Hermes are. He sits in Hades' seat without permission and kicks Ares out of the seat when warned. This man with a big attitude is the King of Kings, the First Emperor!

Nostradamus' design was... Highly unexpected. I will take time to get used to his looks. At least he seems strong.

Also, Qin vs Hades looks like one of the most hype fights so far. I'm incredibly happy Qin isn't a traitor

Apparently he destroyed the Bifrost bridge & got imprisoned in Helheim which is absolutely insane

Edit: The bifrost connects all the realms in Norse mythology btw

Yeah, we'll probably get flashbacks of them. And definitely, I do think Hades would fight for Zeus too. Albeit not much as been shown, I like their big bro/ little bro dynamic.

As you guys might guess from my profile pic, I'm greatly looking forward to this fight

PD: Buddha, Jack and Adam are pretty much my favourite fleshed out characters so far, so seeing them so high in the popularity poll feels nice. Nostradamus and Qui Shi Huang have the potential to be up there too from the little I've seen. As for the Gods equivalent, Beelzebub and Loki are the ones I'm looking forward to the most character-wise (out of the revealed Gods).

I like the acknowledgement for Zero in the beginning And that bird, I believe was the one he saved

The Buddha/Brunhilde and Odin/Beelzebub convos were interesting. This is the 2nd time Buddha said her eyes were filled with worldy desires. And Odin implying Ragnarok has been in the works for a while. I guess Brunhilde will be the volund in the match(~rd. 12) against Odin and we'll see what each are truly aiming for.

Major props to Ares for having the courage to volunteer . Tho Qin flipping him effortlessly confirms he's likely low-diff material.

Also, the different perspectives on the upcoming match. Humanity's upbeat and can take the lead, while Zeus declaring this a must-win, a sports-like Game 7. I've noticed Apollo has never come to mind for Zeus and Hermes for a fight, so I guess he's in the lower echleon of the roster? Nor has he shown up yet around his family. Wonder if he'll be unveiled with Hades fighting. Anyways, I'm backing Hades for this one. I've been diggin him since his intro, an absolute boss. Look at that arena , perfect burial for Qin and his terracotta army

Also, I've been thinking with Nostradamus' intro, he'd go up against Loki. I'd been on Loki vs. Okita, but this seems like a natural fit. Trickster vs. Joker. They also have similar intros, with Loki impersonating Thor and Nostra cosplaying Brunhilde.

And just by the interactions Nostradamus had with Brunhilde and Goll, I hope he's with them for commentary.
