My thoughts after reading the first chapter: "Well, that was fun ". Most notably the concept of a princess that needs to wear heavy boots or she would float away made me chuckle.

Good chapter. Liked it more than the one shot. Laana's descriptions about the world were interesting.

Interesting idea, would be cool. But they only talked about Dragonkins and the Organization in Claymore IIRC. Here she mentioned 12 races, if it's the Mainland then it's even bigger than described in Claymore.

Good manga series.

I really liked it.The world building that this series hints at seem to catch my attention.

Add to that I really liked the interaction between Lana & Lacile.And the art was good too.

This makes me want to start Claymore now.

Decent chapter, liked the action scenes at the end. These Hecaton-cheirs reminds me of Star Wars's Droids.

Pretty good chapter.

We get to see a bit of a back story of Lacile.

In addition we got those good Star Wars looking Droids.And Lacile became the knight of Lana.

Man this series may become my favourite soon.


I hope it gets Animated soon.

Chapter 3 (The beginning of the journey)

-Lacile and Leana left while Pipi and Meme still asleep. The chapter starts with the two girls crying and their grandfather reassuring them that they’ll be back soon. This is Leana’s first time riding an animal, and grandpa wonders if she might not stand its smell. Just like she left her country on a whim, the same might happen before this journey even starts. It then occurred to him that he forgot to warn Lacile about the desert, but shrugs it off that he will be able to handle it.

-It turns out that Leana is enjoying the ride, since they don’t have animals in the flying city. They are crossing the desert that are surrounding the mountains where Lacile and his family are living (which makes it a good hiding spot for the family). Lacile asks her what a Blue Sky knight is, and she answers they are warriors appointed only by members of the royal family. There are also other three knights: knight of the dawn, knight of the twilight and knight of the moon. Only the position of knight of the blue sky was vacant and appointing one was left to her.

-Leana takes out a map that grandpa gave her and states that their first destination is Gulliver valley. A hamster-like creature that Leana finds cute appears, and Lacile warns her that they suck the blood of animals and humans. Next, a sand shark attacks them (the thing that grandpa forgot to warn them about) and Lacile attacks it with photon energy. A pack appears and he tells Leana to escape with the animals, but he runs out of energy. Leana takes something that looks like a rocket launcher out of her boot and fires it at them, rendering them unconscious. While looking all badass, she explains to the shocked Lacile that it’s an old technology used for fishing, but she had no idea it could work on sand sharks. She wonders if she should travel with this style, since it weighs the same as her, but Lacile tells her not to

-Finally, the scene shifts to multiple concealed figures in Ariadne. A man reassures the king that they sent five of the royal guards and they are all quite powerful.

This series is too good. Borderline perfect start. The author is a phenomenal talent, art is so good even if there's no noses lol.

I believe I made a mistake and the weapon is something that grandpa gave Leana along with the map . I should've remembered this is a shounen, not Mary Poppins. Leana took off her boots because gravity laws would make it easier for her to carry such a a heavy thing on her shoulder:

He does mention in the author pages in one of the volumes of Angel Densetsu that Star Wars is one of his favorite series. Really cool to see this come out so clearly.

The concept of the Desert Sharks is interesting.

I am really liking the team work of Leana and Lacile.I feel they will be able to defeat the Imperial Knights.
