Not sure but I think some breaks were because they were working with the studio for the anime. The hiatus could be for the same reason. Or maybe they have other things to deal with.

It looks gorgeous, and the music seems to be quite fitting as well (some soothing + fantasy style).
Was the voice at the end Frieren's? Wonder who's the actress.

Still a bit worried about the hiatus. Like... if it's gonna be like Nana, that ended up being a short anime with an alternative ending since the manga never moved forward again...

I think it's Frieren. Frieren shares the same seyuu as Chise in Mahoutsukai (Atsumi Tanezaki) . Call Evan does the music, he did Violet evergarden too.
