Watched the first 2 episodes of the new season and enjoyed it quite a bit. Particularly the second episode with Howard and Raj and their weird relationship; that's usually the highlight of any episode for me. I think it was cool for the show to focus more on the Amy/Bernadette dynamic a bit more; as we hadn't seen a lot of that in previous seasons. So their work trip was good timing for that and Amy's hilarious reaction to being bought drinks at the bar by other men; bloody funy

As my favourite character dynamic is always Penny and Sheldon; his continuous pointing a finger at her promiscuity and lack of cleanliness in her apartment. Though I found some of the plot in particularly to be reminscent of a few Friends episodes, so that always played in mind when I was watching this and don't think I enjoyed it as much knowing that fact.

I think the recent seasons have been more popular to non-Americans. I've seen a lot of Americans, especially on Youtube that mentions that they don't find the current seasons funny anymore and they stopped watching it. The ratings are still good though.

Yeah I felt that way too.I took a break from it then started following it again, mainly because of the Sheldon x Amy storyline.
After so many seasons it's kinda normal for it not to be as funny as it used to in the beginning.
