See their are rumors of Messi going to Inter and starting another rivalry with Ronaldo but I personally don't see it happening. Griezman hasn't been the same since he left Athletico and the rest are just good players, nothing too great.

If Messi leaves, I see that team struggling for a bit.
I really don't see Messi at another club so I don't know. Inter did comment that they have no plans to pursue him. I don't even think many clubs would get a look in if he was interested in playing elsewhere. I could see him following an old coach like Guardiola.

They've got a decent team, the problem with them (as it has been for many years) is the defence. They've got a fucking solid goalkeeper (albeit not prone to his own stupidity), Pique is just a liability nowadays and Jordi Alba is an attacking wide back, so they don't really have a presence at the back. They need character. You know what, to be fair, Lenglet is good.

Now imagine instead of wasting those hundreds of millions, they'd bought a top centre back like Laporte before he joined Man City.

Which team?
Arsenal :eyeroll

@Ramen I didn't watch the opening day fixtures of the UCL but I did follow the results. The only highlight I remember watching was the Man Utd v PSG match and Bayern whooping Atletico Madrid.

If you don't care about ever winning anything, maybe.

Arsenal have a better history than Tottenham. Their squads are not too different to be fair, so an argument can be made there. It's just that Spurs just can't win anything, for whatever reason :XD

History doesn't mean much to me in futbol since I'm more of a casual fan.

Ah, from the cradle to the grave.
Them not winning anything doesn't bother me. Like I said, I'm just a casual.

Lucky you. Having supported Spurs since the 80s I can tell you it's been nothing but pain and grief.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did the Quadruple this year and no one could actually get into the grounds to watch

I think this is how Liverpool fans feel, having won the league and not been able to celebrate it with their fans. It's going to be most delayed title celebration ever.

Oh dude sorry for making fun of your suffering some posts ago.

I wish the best for you and your family in these 40 depressing years 🙏 (may more come).

I'm old enough to remember the last time they won the title. I'd have never thought it would take them 30 years to win the next one.

Pay attention Arsenal and Man U fans. It's a slippery slope that can be almost impossible to climb back up

Lampard, oh Lampard.

Tuchel with those young players is a worry. Hopefully they will get Gerrard and I can enjoy some wonderful drama instead.
