It is. I've heard stories. Sometimes, I wonder if I could do it.
I have a strong heart to carry out my mission but at what cost. Somethings you see in this field can f**k you up mentally.

I already feel pressure coming from my parents and relatives

When they tell me the "right" things to do, they always say that it's for me and my "future" children, but I said "I don't want to have kids."

They just stare at me like I have a lot of issues.

Well, my opinion on that..

Is that I'm sure your parents and relative mean well because they love you and naturally want better for. I would hope so, at least.

However, they maybe crossing the line with deciding certain outcome of your future so early. It is your life and you're still so young and still growing mentally.

Normally, most parents have certain expectations for their children but sometimes I think some parents over do it and in result, the child becomes a "stressful perfectionist".

They're probably doing that because I am a young adult now, influencing me to be that person like they are. I'm slowly growing away from my parents' way of thinking because I can make my own decisions, little by little. They're projecting me into what this society thinks of an average girl.
