It's changing a lot, but I enjoy Giorgio by moroder, within, fragments of time a lot now.

Guapi is a twon in the pacific coasts of Colombia. They made Marimbas with the trunk of palm called Chonta. And here a sample of the music they play with their Marimbas:



Its sound is magical. I have one in my house and try to give some lessons to my daughter. If anyone is interested these guys sell and send the marimbas everywhere around the world. Here a promotional vid made by them, with some texts in English.

Major props to the person who posted Destroyer. I saw them live a couple of years ago not too long after the release of Kaputt and they sounded great, mind you they were playing a festival and their sound doesn't exactly fit the festival setting, but it was definitely a great experience.

Also RAM was somewhat disappointing, I guess it was hard for it to live up to the hype that was created for it but I really do feel like it kind of meanders a bit. Nile Rodgers' addition is nice and all but he really does the same thing in every track, I wish he would have spiced up his guitar playing. There are some definite standouts though Doin' It Right is the jam and Giorigo Moroder is fantastic once you get past the unnecessary spoken word part.

Also anybody here into Boards of Canada? They're putting out their first album in 8 years in a couple of weeks. Here's the song they just dropped.
