With these two pics alone I feel like this chapter can't be worse than the previous ones with Yama and Yasratcha's adventures.

Still, I'd like this Beastkin plot to end ASAP. I hope SIU isn't going to start with the tons of subplots now.

We've got fanservice around Bam and endorsi in this chapter, I think it the first time besides season 2 that we've seen bam shirtless

Gustang is talking to Proust about succeding in buying time with Traumerei inside the maze. Proust says he hates to admit it but the vice-captain strategy seems to be working: Robadon took the bait and left mothership(?), Kirin is marching with all the BHs. Gustang orders Proust to lead them to a designated place and annihilate them all. Something about Traum living alone despite being surrounded by his family, destiny to be betrayed and his family perishing in the end. Gustang asks about the book, to which Proust answers that he planted the bait as Gus commanded. There is also a carrier inboud with the most reliable warrior in PB family - Dumas (red guy) carrying the book. He assures Gus that the book will be delivered to him.

Kinda of eyeroll worthy watching Baam in this chapter. Why must he perpetually act like he needs to ask his inferiors for permission to do things?

Summary by Lens:

- We left the pointless atrocity that was the previous chapter and returned to
Gustang and Traumerei. A PB updates Gus on the battlefield.

- Gustang tells them to attract all the LPB and annihilate them. He says that Rei has always been alone, as he is destined to be betrayed.

- Gustang asks about the book, PB says the bait has been planted and the family's most trusted warrior, Duma, is acting, the book will return to Gustang's hands.

- Basically, Kirin leaves to find Baam when the PBs we saw at the end of season 2 arrive, from then on the annihilation begins.

- We went back a few hours earlier, we see Jinsung's escape, he gets in touch with Karaka and they talk about Lobadon and Gustang's weakness, finally, HJ says that he will need to invoke the power of FUG.

- Baam seems to still have a brain and wonders if Laura is lying or not, but still, he decides to go to Lobadon. AA thinks of a plan to escape the guards, since Elbaba's piece of shit is under Laura's control, it would be easier.

- We have a conversation between Yuri and Tiara. yuri says that it is impossible to win a war against the other 10 families, so she tries to remove the tiara if other families are involved in this. Tiara dismisses it saying that in the end it is Zahard who will be alone.

- Here Cinera will combust. Yuri says it doesn't matter, because if all the Zahard princesses were gathered together, they would be able to dominate the 10 families. (obviously I believe she is not counting the FH).

- Baam sends a message coaxing Yuri to hold Tiara (obviously it was AA who sent the message the way he tries to manipulate Yuri). She will try to get you both drunk.

- Androssi asks why Baam wants to get involved in this war instead of running away, if it's for the twins. He says that's not it, he still doesn't know what he's going to do, but he doesn't intend to run away from his destiny.

Chapter 900% better than the previous one, but the story still sucks.

I wonder what makes Baam think he can go to the strongest LPB army and come out alive with 3 regulars, if only he had taken Cha....

Honestly, this whole arc sucks.

He's probably stronger than they are if he tries anyway, so whatever.
