Dumas says that although FH told him to obey Bellerir commands in this war, he won't participate in this game since he received direct orders from Gustang to capture Bam and bring him to FH. Bellerir then proposes to Dumas to be a special participant who can capture chess pieces through battle from both teams. Dumas accepts. Bellerir explains to all that they'll be all teleported separately to designated locations within the area and receive a chess piece that represents them. Capturing other chess pieces is simple: you either kill the other person or steal their chess piece. They can travel through the "light" (lamps) and the location they'll be sent is mostly random however they might reach the desired place if they try enough times. The game begins and Bam receives the Queen. Bam think to himself he wished to get the King as it's the most dangerous (or dangerous to be one) and important piece. He needs to find the one who has the King piece.

Rachel notes it's dark and asks Hwaryun if she guides them somewhere strange perhaps. Hwa responds that Rachel has a lot to worry about and tells Rachel to use the lighthouse to shine some light which reveals the door. Yura says there's only a doorknob and the door looks strange. Hwaryun tells them it's easy to open, no need for a password or a key, just pull the handle. However, only those who are qualified can do it. Rachels asks if that qualification is Shinwonryu, then her lighthouse shines and she equips the bracelet. She opens the door and they go in. They see the entity and someone (probably Rachel) says "It must be the animal forgotten by Traumerei!". Rachel complains about the noise the animal is making saying her ears will burst and commands Hwaryun to do something about it as she probably knows what to do. Hwa says the name of that monster is Enkidu and Traum received it from the Master of the Workshop. It was the first life that wanted to be human (?). And now maybe it's a creature that hates Traum more than anyone else. Rachel responds that she knows it, she's more interested in how to stop him from screaming. Hwa: "Why are you asking me that? You are the one who should be qualified. Prove it yourself with that power. I wonder if you can stop its screaming." Rachel swears at Hwa in her mind. Rachel thinks to herself she is diffrent now than before. She is starting this war. If one can get their hands on that monster, one can become one of the 10 FHs. She will prove it! She used her power yelling at Enkidu to shut up and listen to her - the shield surrounding Enkidu disappeared. He started screaming again, Rachel tried to use her power again, Yura came to the rescue and teleported them out but Enkidu attacks them. Rachel says they should retreat for now and is about to command Hwaryun to get them out of here but she notices Hwa gone and the door closed. Hwa says that even if you need qualification to open any door, you don't need any to close them.

Gustang expected Hwaryun to come to him alone and asks if the monster is awake now. She confirms, Gustang gave Rachel fake power and asked Hwa to guide her. As he thought she was qualified but couldn't handle the qualification. Hwaryun is going now, since she's done her job. Guastang releases her from the shackles and she asks if he is going to fight it. He says he wants to hear something from it. It would be nice to talk first but if words can't reach it they'll have to fight.

The ranker is trying to block Enkidu while Rachel tries to open the door. Rachel gets saved by Gustang, though not intentionally imo. Gustang greets Enkidu and says he wants to ask him something.

You are totally wrong.
Just a bit of info... Rachel has a contract with Headon: If Rachel kills Bam, she gets what she want "to be the protagonist of the story".
In plain English.. here entrance in the tower is by no other mean but by hereself... she is an *irregular*... and probably the most relevant (not in terms of power, but as a story driver). At some point we will see here irregulars power in a way or an other.

Sorry, but She is an Irregular only because she was not born in the Tower and can skirt some of the rules of the Tower. She didn't open the way in, but she slipped in when Bam opened the way.

As to being a story driver.... well she is a useful tool for unethical FH's like Gustang who need an irregular they can use for odd jobs that lie outside the rules.

As for a contract with Headon, Headon is just using her same way as Gustang is using her.

I don't know if you've read all of TOG from the start, but Rachel is a slimey killer of unarmed people, she is selfish, and she is cruel. Her cruelty is driven by envy/jealousy and wanting to be adored and admired even when she has never done anything to deserve it up to the point of crippling a guy by stabbing his legs repeatedly, just because he can run fast. Who would like or befriend someone like that?

While I'm still sort of waiting for translations to form a final opinion on this, I think it truly cannot be overstated how much of an absolute cuck and a dupe Baam looks like right now. Here he is out there ostensibly fighting to give Gustang an advantage in this battle of his, while Gustang is up giving things that are meant for him away to the person who keeps wanting to steal from him. And Hwa Ryun is helping him do it. Like, seriously effing why?

Looks like Baam VS Dumas will happen after all.

Does that even make sense? Baam is representing one of Gustang's pieces in the game (and his strongest one, at that). Why would Dumas want to do anything to him now? Unless it's Baam picking a fight with him, but that doesn't seem like something he would do either.

Dumas was ordered to bring Baam back and he has a special role now, so he can hunt Baam without issues.

Would it even matter. Dumas can replace him as unofficial Queen since he can hunt anyone.

After capturing Baam he will focus on defeating Traumerei's pieces. That's the most logical thing to do.

Really can't get over how similar this is to the second season. What Gustang did to her is essentially what Khun did to her: give her an opportunity she couldn't actually handle which leads to her failing to control the ancient monster she let loose. She even kidnapped Hwa again!

Which is all fine and good, but what if it hadn't panned out like they were thinking (and it still somehow might not)? They're playing games with Baam's stuff, more or less.
