The species name is Hairtail, the subspecies name is Giant Silver Hairtail (as it is subspecies name, it doesn't change even if it got minimized). Nb: in Korean, it's "Giant Silver Hairtail" instead of "Giant Hairtail". Meanwhile, the personal name of the one used by Traum is Fandore Harpe.

Back to the original point, it still means Dumas did not necessarily kill Fandore Harpe just by beheading some of its duplicates.

What need to be explained? You don't expect all effect to disappear after the curse is lifted, do you? Some of them might be permanent or took time to heal like scars.
