Wow, no one is talking about the Phantom Seer duos new one-shot now translated (well, in English). I thought there would be more of a discussion.

Part of it is just because it's not as easily accessible or as wideknown as being translated on Shounen Jump's app.

As for my opinion, I thought it was good. I liked the characters and the plot while standard had good potential. I could easily see myself following Theo's journey for his goal. The characters were fun. Theo's cool and there's a potential good dynamic with his fellow worker. I can definitely see why people compared it to D. Gray Man, there were a lot of parallel's to its first chapter from the 19th century England setting to the female police officer and the overall plot. I also liked the humor. It wasn't laugh out loud but it was fun enough especially Theo's reaction to the brother praising his mask. I would very much support it if it ran as a serialization.

Skimming the GIGA one shots I'm most interested by Fukamori Shou and Shimohara Seiya.

Interesting. Don’t get me wrong, I want this to be serialized as well. We will probably see another flex situation like Kagurabachi soon with this one. Thank you very much Phantom RPG for your input cause I wanted someone else besides me to give their opinion on the one-shot.

Sometimes these recommendations make no goddamn sense to me. I thought it'd be between authors they have in their magazine, then frickin' Vaundy gets his name plastered on KGB volumes for whatever reason (Ousama Ranking OP and Chainsawman ED1 are bangers though).

Ryohgo Narita frequently tweets about Nue, has serialized with Jump before, has written LNs for them too, is decently successful in the LN sphere with several successful works and a fully adapted LN and... They can't get his name on the sleeve? What's going on? Why? The guy does this for free.
