That, but mostly this : Imagine if this happens really... Cockroaches evolving and hunting us, while before they were just small insect easily crushed... I found it quite creepy, the hunter being hunted basically

What do we read after Planetes?

I suppose one of the other comics with higher ranking. Let's give it a couple of days more to Planetes. Maybe at the end of the week we will have some exchanges about it. Also it would be nice if we evaluate a bit this first reading, to see how could it be improved. I guess at the end of the next week we could be beginning the next comic.

Two questions: why do you think Planetes is not light? and, after this first experience, would you change your preferences in the spreadsheet?

Superficially speaking, Planetes is light but it has underlying themes that make it something special in the first place. With something lighter i mean something at face value like Akumetsu for example which has interesting topics but is not that deep after all and no, i probably would not change my preferences.

Nausicaa and Eden were the other two most voted. We could read nay of these. What would you choose guys? I would go with Nausicaa. But I can read Eden if you guys choose that one.

Nausicaa seems good since it is shorter. Longer series should be read last.... Anyway I don't really mind, truth is I didn't read either...

Ok, I'm very sorry I haven't participated in the Planetes collective reading. Got busy in the first week of the reading then haven't caught up. I'm still yet to finish the series but anyways, I'll try joining now. Since I've more free time at the moment and I already read the first few volumes of Nausicaa before.
