They has to somehow because it is super important for story. Maybe we wont see it clearly but they has to show it or whole story will collapse.

Well Xiao Yan is still too weak but his body is sculpted by his master in way that the more flames he absorbed the more power beyond his lvl he can get so Even as Dou King he will be able to face dou ancestor.

Although i didnt read the novel, i feel like they butchered and ruined the tournament. wtf was that, a whole tournament in one chapter, how can they rush something like that. I'm thinking bout stopped reading the manhua and waiting for the novel translation to catch up so that wont ruin the story for me
