As it stands now, ippo probably doesnt even need the dempsey. Sendo is speechless, Volgs trainer has sweat on his sides and Miguel even says, that volg is completly overpowered.

Ironically i dont believe volgs next opponent is a bullrush fighter, he was only told that, so he would fight seriously.

More ironically his next opp is probably a counter user and ippo countering the white fang will be the same as volg in the past with his dempsey counter.

Chapter is out and the pacing is like a good old fight from the series.

I am kinda high on Imai. Dude made himself a name and is the real deal. It could showcase how ippo isnt anymore the slug it out dude, but instead this calculating and parrying monster. So all are expecting dual exchanges and such, while ippo would just steamroll him and counter in an infight

Also, predicting this now: Wally is the final boss. Ippo reaches the point where he can beat Ricardo but Wally gets there first.
