Since KH is kinda infamous for spreading its story through all media, from mobile phone to all known gaming consoles, and novels of course, i assume this new CGI tv series will be yet another thing that will be important in the long run and will tell the story between KH3 and the new KH game, thus making it another quintessential installment in the series. Just a guess.

I doubt it, considering alot of the assets would require SqEx to be involved which in this case, they likely won't be cuz its SqEx that literally develops everything in this joint venture.

Square Enix will give them Sora (and maybe some heartless) but that's it.

When I saw the trailer all I was thinking
"No way they make a rhythm game without any story, right? it's square afterall...so where the story part ? Did they really make a game without a stor---HA knew it, it had to have canon story part afterall"

So they had the possibility - looking at the actual plot scene - to give us a game with Kairi as the mc.
Yet they went for reusing the same remastered models again, forcing us to play as KH1 Sora AGAIN and then even add this rhythm sh...stuff?

For gods sake Square Enix.

No, the girl at the gate is Loli Kairi running away from the heartless, there is no way Skuld turned into a loli when we know from kh3's secret reports that Skuld is 15 years old when Xehanort met her.

While i want to play the rythim game because it looks really fun and i really want to see Kairi's story, what draw my attention more is the beginning of KHX Dark Road.

Why the hell is Xehanort dreaming about the main character of Union X after the keyblade war?

Maybe this question will be better: What the hell happened with the main character?

I doubt that Xehanort is te reincarnation of the MC, so i think that something must have happened to him and his memories are going through time or something? Now those memories are with Xehanort but who nows where they are now.

I want to see already the end of Union X

Sadly this art only shows how great a solo Kairi game could have been.

I really don't get why the developers have such a fetish for KH1 Sora. That character model is just creepy.

one day that dream will become reality, till that day we shall wait for the moment kairi will shine and not kh1 sora

I mean you're not playing as Sora through out lol
There's other people to play as and again, sure this a Kairi game but it was never in the plans for her to get a KH3 like game esp when from a character perspective, She's sifting THROUGH her memories which are connected to Sora for any traces of where he could've gone to.
