I must disappoint you, when I revealed Hider I was already fully out of spice :XD The reason I even shared my second role as IC is because I had to bluff at this point. So the loud mention was to pretend like I can hide when I actually can't.

ah lol, well still a great bluff tho' and it worked out perfectly.

imagine if you'd have died that night instead of shad. Shad would be the only trusted townie and he'd go for the 3 townies he had marked xDDDD (and i along with him xDDDDDDDD) would have been a loss for sure xD

Maybe don't overanalyze my mark list ^^

It a bit more complicated than marking mafia = good banshee play, it better to lynch mafia and Mark town, than the opposite.

Last day I just marked the 5th scum in case they was any, Holt is the lynch.

But I see your points about dead Gry making town more random.

That concludes game 112, everyone! Thank you for putting your best paw forward to make this a fun experience for all. I'm really glad we could do a bit of a redo of the previous game, clear the bad energy and focus on this new round. Thank you noona, for bearing with me ok ill stop w the bear puns and also provide me with the opportunity to make everyone dress up like bear and say stuff like omo and aigoo. Really, what a fun game this was ❤ :lmao

We took your feedback from the previous game and tweaked the comp a little bit. Here are some final thoughts of the hosts;

I. the Healthy Townie + Noble was a strong role meant to provide town with a weapon during the daytime to break ties. The noble votes are limited, so they must be used sparingly. Using them too early marks you as a potential target for mafia, and with the existence of mafia noble, does not necessarily clear you. Nonetheless, this player didn't seem to mind the attention too much, in fact, at multiple turns requesting people focus on her for actions, sanity. etc :lmao
II. the Sickly + Prostitue had strong blocking powers that were supposed to be used for precise strikes. Choosing to use sickly means forgoing a block at night. Personally, in a vacuum, probably not a good role to use the very first phase, except for maybe to confirm a healthy townie claim. What's highly unfortunate is that this player was taken out nigh immediately. Maybe they're jinxed in bear game 😢

III. BG + RS is a self-sacrificial role; the best use is to die for an important player. With RS, they could come back and vote one last time, as well as shed light on who their target was. All facets of the role were used well by this player.

IV. Innocent Child + Hider was an interesting one to me, as IC doesn't see much use these days. Initially, IC would confirm themselves D5, meaning they had to go one night without hiding to meet their mid-game goal (living to be host confirmed), but we determined that could be a little too long. Even if they survive at night, it wouldn't do town or the player much good if IC D5 sounds too farfetched. Either way, it seems like this player found a very fortunate hiding spot behind Banshee + Jesus :lmao Talk about taking refuge in God's Grace huh

V. & VI. Mason + Spy & Mason + Det were a fun combination that I was looking forward to seeing play together. First, of course, they would distrust each other, but additionally, the paranoid results would perhaps confuse the spy results. Alternatively, the spy would notice something suspicious and have her detective partner in crime do a lil investigating. Unfortunately, none of this came to pass when the det gracelessly slaughtered his most valued comrade without even having spent a single night discussing their options together.

VII. Now Jesus + Banshee was supposed to be spicy. With 3 marks, this player could hope to mark someone, bait, die, kill, respawn and then mark someone again and operate as a confirmed townie. It was a role that required real discretion and a slightly more nuanced understanding of the game to pull off the aforementioned strategy gracefully. Instead, the player announced themselves on D1 and ended up killing nobody 😭 Tho the role aside it must not be unstated that as the game went on, this clumsy bear's deductions became a lot better. So tbh not all bad.

VIII. Investigator + Mortician is a mid-game role that serves to confirm or disconfirm certain claims and crimes. It is not necessarily the highest priority role to kill, but, similar to HT Noble, it has a certain staying power that comes with being able to gain specific information that cannot be faked easily. This player did pretty well but unfortunately did not live long enough to activate really.

IX. Double Necro is double spicy. Nothing much to say about this role combination that hasn't already been said previously. This player was solid and managed to use their role very well. It's versatile in the sense it can use roles that were meant to be active in different phases in the game to help progress the game state and confirm or disconfirm claims (e.g. using sickly to confirm healthy)

The mafia was just a strong bunch of roles we tried to match as well as possible. Doc + Escort was meant to be a full-block role, being able to very freely set priorities for their team by blocking or covering. Their partner mafia were strong killers. Roles were paired in such a way they shouldn't conflict with each other too much. The sickly fumbled their claim a bit but almost got away with it and the other two mafia were relatively solid, mostly victims of happenstance.

The BP + SK was another fun role I had a specific hope for; I did not want the SK to fear night kills too much so we gave BP. This meant that if the Mafia Det spotted them, which I hoped would happen and indeed did, they would at once realise that they either have to burn Strongman on the killer or, preferably, lynch them during day. Though not very many mafia were alive by the time this scenario became apparent, it was still nice that this particular interaction between roles would force the mafia to take a proactive stance during day to kill the SK, rather than just biding their time and leaning in on their role powers.

Alright, that was it from this bear. Once again I hope you all enjoyed, thank you noona for hosting with me and everyone have fun meming about an actual panda game :lmao And congratulations town for bringing in the first town win in like a year almost!
