Okay, lemme show you the current standings:

1. Sherlock (20 points, +16)
2. Sai (18 points, +12)
3. Jav (14 points, +8)
4. Kuwabara (12 points, +4)
5. Chaos (11 points, +4)
6. Ken (8 points, +1)

after adding the byes...

1. Sai (21 points, +15)
2. Kuwabara (21 points, +13)
3. Sherlock (20 points, +16)
4. Jav (20 points, +14)
5. Chaos (17 points, +10)
6. Ken (14 points, +7)

The matches we are still missing are
Sai vs Ken
Sherlock vs Chaos

Nothing's set yet, it all depends on the remaining matches, Kuwabara is ahead of you as he didn't tie and even though you beat him, he defeated Sai.
The possible champions are Sai, Kuwa and Sherlock, you can still archieve third place though when Sherlock loses to me with a difference of 3.

Not sure whether I clarified this before, if there is a tie for any position, that means points AND game difference are equal, those players will play an extra round.

Lineup of Destiny -

Sherlock V Chaos

Mizuki's Prediction:
S3: Krauser
D2: Kaidoh/Ishida
S2: Tezuka
D1: Kaidoh/Ishida
S1: Krauser

S3:
Hiyoshi (5, 5, 6, 6, 22)
Aggressive Baseliner

-Enbu Tennis [Feat]:
(1) Hiyoshi’s Power and Speed are boosted by 3 points each. (Singles only)
(2) Hiyoshi’s Power and Speed are boosted by 2 points each. (Doubles only)

-Gekokujou [Opening Feat]:
When playing against an opponent with an original total higher than Hiyoshi's, the opponent cannot lower Hiyoshi’s stats through Effects, and each of Hiyoshi’s stats is boosted by 1 point.

-Successor [Effect]:
Whenever Hiyoshi plays a 3rd year or a highschooler, his Speed and Spin are boosted by 2 points each. In doubles, this bonus is only applied once at maximum.

V

Tezuka (8, 12, 9, 11, 40)
All-rounder

-My Aaaaaaaaaaarm… [Feat]:
Tezuka loses in a tie.

-Pinnacle of Hard Work [Aura]:
If your opponent adds points to either his Power or Spin stat through an Effect or Aura, add twice of those points to Tezuka's Power/Spin stat.

Hmm...even with all of Hiyoshi's effects added, it's only 36 V 40 without even considering Pinnacle of Hard Work. Poor guy.

Winner: Tezuka, Chaos

1-0 Chaos

D2:
Wakato (4, 4, 4, 7, 19)
Defensive Baseliner

-Change Over! [Feat]:
Wakato has to choose one player before the match, his playstyle and dominant hand change accordingly. Depending on whether the copied playstyle has an advantage/disadvantage against the opponent's playstyle the following bonus is applied:
-Advantage -> +3 to all stats
-Neutral -> +0
-Disadvantage -> -1.5 to all stats
The order of advantages is:
-Serve&Volley advantage vs Defensive Baseliner
-Defensive Baseliner advantage vs Aggressive Baseliner
-Aggressive Baseliner advantage vs Serve&Volley
-All-rounder always counts as Neutral

In Doubles, the bonuses are added up for both opponents.

-Buggy Whip Shot [Effect]:
Wakato's Spin is boosted by 3 points.

Mizuki (3, 3, 4, 10, 20)
All-rounder

-Data Tennis [Feat]:
Mizuki’s Control is boosted by 1 point.

-Prediction Master [Opening Effect]:
Mizuki's player must predict his opponent's lineup. He must guess the character's exact positions.
(1) When guessing his own opponent correctly, Mizuki's Control is boosted by 4 points and his opponent's Effects are negated. (Singles only)
(2) When guessing another characters opponent correctly, that opponent's Effects are negated and your character's Control is boosted by 2.
(3) This effect cannot be copied.
(4) This Effect cannot be negated.

V

Krauser (7, 6, 6, 7, 26)
All-rounder

-Devil [Final Feat]:
If the opponent’ Power is within 5 levels of Krauser’s, each of the opponent’s stats drops by 2.

Ishida (7, 0, 4, 4, 15)
Aggressive Baseliner

-Power [Feat]:
Ishida’s Power is boosted by 3 points.

-Moujuu Aura [Aura]:
Ishida's Power is boosted by 6 points.

Interesting lineup to say the least. I think I got this one right...

Original: 39 (Sherlock) V 41 (Chaos)
Feat: Change Over! +12 to Wakato. Control +1 for Mizuki. Power +3 for Ishida. 52 V 44.
Final Feat: Since Mizuki's power is 3 and Wakato's is 7, they both drop 8 points due to Devil, so it's 36 V 44.
Effects: Buggy Whip means +3 for Wakato, and +2 to both Mizuki and Wakato due to guessing Ishida correctly. 43 V 44.
Aura: But Ishida unleashes Moujuu. 43 V 50.

Winner: Krauser/Ishida pair, Chaos

2-0 Chaos

S2:
Yagyuu (8, 5, 9, 9, 31)
Serve and Volley

-The Gentleman [Feat]:
Yagyuu gets boosted by 2 point in every stat, whereas the opponent’s highest stat drops by 2.

-Losing Reputation [Feat]:
When Laser Shot is negated, Yagyuu’s Spin is boosted by 5.

Guess Who? the 2nd [Effect]
Yagyuu copies the Effect of any player he already played or partnered with in this season. If that Effect would increase/decrease any stats, those changes apply only to 30%.

Using guess who to activate:
http://mangahelpers.com/forum/showth...=56078&page=31
Hadokyuu. +3.

V

Fuji (5, 12, 6, 11, 34)
Defensive Baseliner

-Prodigy [Feat]:
Fuji’s stats cannot be decreased.

-Never-ending Evolution [Feat]:
When one of Fuji’s effects got negated, the opponent’s Spin is halved. In doubles this applies to the opponent who negated Fuji’s effect.

-Hecatonchires no Monban [Effect]:
(1) If the opponent’s playstyle is All-Rounder, his speed, strength, and control are all reduced by 2. (Singles only)
(2) If at least one opponent’s playstyle is All-Rounder, Fuji’s speed, strength, and control gets boosted by 1. (Doubles only)
(3) This effect cannot be copied by Muga no Kyouchi.

-Hoshi Hanabi [Effect]:
This Effect cannot be used. It triggers automatically once Hecatoncheiros is negated.Fuji's Spin is doubled. This Effect can neither be copied nor can it be negated.

Damn, this is one heck of a lineup!

Original: 31(Sherlock) V 34 (Fuji)
Feat: +8 to Yagyuu thanks to The Gentlemen, and Fuji stays the same thanks to Prodigy. 39 V 34.
Effects: Yagyuu uses Hadoukyuu at 30% of its strength, so +3 making it 42. Unfortunately for Chaos, he chose the wrong effect, Hecatonchires no Monban is useless here.

Winner: Yagyuu, Sherlock (LOL)

1-2 Sherlock.

D1:
Kamio (4, 1, 9, 4, 18)
Defensive Baseliner

-Rhythm [Feat]:
Kamio’s Speed is boosted by 5 points. When playing Singles, Kamio loses in a tie.

-Moujuu Aura [Aura]:
Kamio's Speed is boosted by 6 points.

Billy Cassedy (4,5,4,7, 20)
Serve and Volley

Shotgun Volley[Opening Effect]:
Billy Control is increased by 3 and the opponents effects are canceled when playing doubles. (Doubles only)

V

Kaidoh (5, 7, 5, 5, 22)
Defensive Baseliner

-Stamina [Feat]:
Kaidoh wins if he ties or the opponent’s total is within 1 point of Kaidoh’s.

-Rivalry [Effect]:
Kaidoh may copy any one of Momoshiro's abilities for the match. That Effect cannot be negated.

-Dunk Smash [Effect]:
Each of the opponent’s stats drops by 1 point.

Saeki (2, 2, 2, 5, 11)
Serve and Volley

-Childhood Friend [Feat]:
If Fuji participates in the match, Saeki’s stats are boosted by 2 points each.

-Analyze [Effect]:
The opponent’s Speed with the lower base total is halved. Also, if the opposing team uses a Formation, that Formation is negated. (Doubles only)

Hmm.

Original: 38 (Sherlock) V 33 (Chaos)
Feats: +5 for Sherlock because of Rhythm. 43 V 33.
Opening Effect: +3 for Billy and all other effects cancelled for Chaos. 41 V 33.

Add in Moujuu no Aura, game over.

Winner: Kamio/Billy pair, Sherlock

2-2

S1:
Niou (8, 8, 8, 9, 33)
All-rounder

-Unpredictable [Feat]:
If the opponent would use a Feat or an Effect called ‘Data Tennis’, that Feat/Effect is negated. Also, Prediction's effect doesn't work against Niou.

-Illusion [Effect]:
When playing Singles, Niou has to predict his opponent as well as a copyable ability.
If the prediction is correct, the copied ability is applied at 100% and the opponent's stats drop by 2 points each. If the prediction was wrong, the copied ability is applied at 50% and all of Niou's stats drop by 1.5 points. This Effect cannot be copied nor can it be negated.

Predicting...
Tezuka

V
Shinji (3, 7, 4, 4, 18)
Defensive Baseliner

-Kick Serve [Effect]:
Shinji’s Spin is boosted by 1 and Shinji can still activate Spot.

-Spot [Effect]:
Each of the opponent’s stats drops by 2 points. (Singles only)

At first glance, you all think Sherlock won right? WRONG. Kick Serve brings Shinji to 19 against Niou's 33. BUT Spot means -8 and Niou wrongly predicting Tezuka means he drops 6 more points, make it 19 V 19!

Too bad you didn't put an effect forward Sherlock!

DRAW

Results:
Game and Match! 2-2, Draw!

That was only because Sherlock didn't put some sort of effect down when he messaged me.

Haha can't believe I tied it. Not going to complain though, wouldn't change a thing in the rankings. If Ken beats Sai I win.

I thought you'd go Wisdom with Tezuka so I went like that with Yagyuu so that he could beat him. Hiyoshi could beat Fuji. If i had inverted Hiyoshi and Yagyuu I would have won 3-1.

Well top 3 for S1 looks to be Sherlock, Kuwabara (all cause he beat me!) and me.

Here's a new picking method that'll award the winners for second season.

1st Place: Gets to choose which Tier he wants first pick on
2nd Place: Gets to choose which Tier out of the 2 left they want first pick on
3rd Place: Gets to have first pick on the remaining tier.

Also, When you send me your Pick lists for S2, you can make it a flow chart if you'd like.

i.e. If Bunta is available I want him, then Jackal. If Bunta is taken, then I want Hiyoshi then Kaidou and not Jackal.

That way it'll give me the best idea of how to pick for you when it comes your time to pick.

Please separate your picking lists by their tier levels.

Once we know for sure the 1st 2nd and 3rd place winners, I'll have them PM me which Tier they want.

If Ken doesn't PM his lineup in the next 25 hours (out of the 30 we PMed him with earlier), his last round will be considered a 3-0 loss and we shall commence with S2 (which I know everyone wants to start already.)

Picking will take place during this week. With Trading allowable during that time. 1st round starts on Saturday.

The final match of season 1, the match that decides who will be champion...

Sai vs Ken

S3

Kurobane (4, 1, 2, 2, 9) 4
Serve and Volley

-Power [Feat]:
Kurobane’s Power is boosted by 3 points.

-Pronation Serve [Effect]:
Kurobane’s Power is boosted by 4 points in singles. In doubles Kurobane’s Power is boosted by 6 points.

Echizen (9, 11, 12, 13, 45) 50
All-rounder

-Prince of Tennis [Feat]:
If the opponent is Ryoga, Echizen automatically wins.

-Doubles Loser [Opening Feat]:
When playing Doubles, Echizen’s points and his Partner’s points are halved each. Furthermore, all Effects, Formations and Auras Echizen (or the team for Formations) uses are negated.

-Samurai Drive [Effect]:
Echizen Spin is boosted by 15. This effect is negated if the opponent’s Power and Speed stats are both 20 or above. In that case, Echizen loses the match. This effect cannot be negated.

I wonder whether Echizen needed 10 or 15 minutes to finish it...

Winner: Echizen, Ken

1-0 Ken

D2

Atobe (7, 9, 9, 10, 36) 45
All-rounder

-Insight [Feat]:
The opponent’s total drops by 3 and if he would add any points through an effect, only half the points are added.

-The King [Feat]:
Atobe’s Power and Control are boosted by 2 points each.

Super Attack Style [Final Feat]:
If the opponent's final total is higher than Atobe's, all of Atobe's stats are boosted by 2 points. In doubles, this applies to both team's totals.

-World of Ice [Final Effect]:
If the opponent’s total is within 10 points, their Speed and Power drop by 3 points each. This Effect cannot be copied by Muga no Kyouchi.

Kenya (5, 1, 10, 5, 21) 14
Defensive Baseliner

-Naniwa's Speed Star [Feat]:
Kenya’s Speed is boosted by 5 points.

-Challenge [Final Feat]:
If the opponent’s Speed is 9 or higher, Kenya’s Speed is boosted by 3 points.

Shishido (3, 2, 7, 3, 15) 19
Defensive Baseliner

-Dash [Effect]:
Shishido’s Speed is boosted by 4 points and Shishido can still activate Rising Counter.

-Rising Counter [Effect]:
(1) If the opponent uses an Effect, that Effect is negated and the opponent’s Speed drops by 3 points.
(2) Shishido and his Partner cannot have their Effects negated. (Doubles only)

Ootori (5, 0, 5, 4, 14) 16
Serve and Volley

-Neo Scud Serve [Effect]:
Ootori’s Power is boosted by 4 points. If Ootori or his team would tie with an opponent, they win instead.

Level 4
Bonus: +10 points are added to the pair’s total, L1, L2, L3, L4 Formations can be used
Both players gain the Feat:

Strategy [Feat]:
The user’s highest stat is boosted by 3 points.

-Australian Formation [Formation, L2]:
This Formation can only be used by a pair that has a support-level of 2 or higher. When playing a pair with a higher base total, all stats of both players in this pair are boosted by 2 points.

This one might be a close one, the base totals are 57 for Sai's pair and 29 for the Silver Pair. After adding Feats and Support Bonuses, as well as the Australian Formation, the totals are 69 to 55 (Kenya's Final Feat activates because Shishido's Speed is boosted by 3 through Strategy, resulting in a value of 10, thus enough to trigger the Feat).
The Effects don't change anything, I guess Silver Pair can't win against Atobe.

Winner: Atobe/Kenya, Sai

1-1

S2

Amane (7, 4, 4, 4, 19) 9
Aggressive Baseliner

-Power [Feat]:
Amane’s Power is boosted by 3 points.

-Long Racket [Feat]:
Amane’s Speed is boosted by 3 points and if the opponent uses an Effect that would increase his Power, that Effect is negated.

Kintarou (12, 2, 12, 10, 36) 40
Aggressive Baseliner

-Wild Boy [Feat]:
If the opponent uses an Effect or Aura, Kintarou’s Speed is boosted by 8 points.

- Daisharin Yamaarashi [Final Effect]:
Kintarou’s Power is boosted by 3 points. Then, if the opponent’s total is within 3 points of Kintarou’s, Kintarou wins.

Kintarou stomps Amane, no doubt about it.

Winner: Kintarou, Ken

2-1 Ken

D1

Bunta (4, 6, 5, 10, 25) 32
Serve and Volley

-Volley Expert [Feat]:
When playing Doubles, Bunta’s Spin, Speed and Control are boosted by 3 points each.

-Rising Shot [Effect]:
If the opponent uses an effect, that effect is negated and the opponent’s Speed drops by 3 points.

-Tsunawatari [Final Effect]:
If the opponent’s Speed is 6 or below, Marui’s Spin is boosted by 3 points.

Jackal (6, 3, 9, 4, 22) 28
Defensive Baseliner

-Iron Wall [Feat]:
When playing Doubles, Jackal’s Speed is boosted by 8 points.

-Boomerang Snake [Effect]:
Jackal’s Spin is boosted by 3 points. If Jackal plays Singles and the opponent’s playstyle is Serve and Volley, Spin is boosted by 5 points instead.

Level 4
Bonus: +10 points are added to the pair’s total, L1, L2, L3, L4 Formations can be used
Both players gain the Feat:

Strategy [Feat]:
The user’s highest stat is boosted by 3 points.

-I-Formation [Formation, L3]:
This Formation can only be used by a pair that has a support-level of 3 or higher. This pair’s Effects cannot be negated. If one of the opponents would use an Effect that would cause a player to drop in a stat, that Effect is negated.

Kawamura (10, 0, 4, 3, 17) 9
Aggressive Baseliner

-Power [Feat]:
Kawamura’s Power is boosted by 3 points.

-Hadokyuu [Effect]:
Kawamura’s Power is boosted by 8 points when playing Singles or 4 points when playing Doubles.

Itsuki (2, 1, 1, 2, 4) 2
Defensive Baseliner

-Sinker [Effect]:
Itsuki’s Spin becomes 0. The opponent’s Effects are negated.

...

Winner: Bunta/Jackal, Sai

2-2

S1

Gin (11, 3, 6, 5, 25) 25
Aggressive Baseliner

-Power [Feat]:
Gin’s Power is boosted by 3 points.

-Fated Rival [Feat]:
If the opponent is Kawamura, Gin loses automatically. (Singles only)

-Hadoukyuu Master [Feat]:
If the opponent uses an Effect that would increase his Power, that Effect is negated.

-Hadokyuu [Effect]:
Gin’s Power is boosted by 10 points when playing Singles or 5 points when playing Doubles.

Jiro (4, 6, 7, 8, 25) 23
Serve and Volley

-Flexible Wrist [Feat]:
Jiro’s Control and Spin are boosted by 2 points each.

-Rising Shot [Effect]:
If the opponent uses an effect, that effect is negated and the opponent’s Speed drops by 2 points.

-Slice Serve [Effect]:
Jiro’s Speed is boosted by 3 points.

Let's start the final match of season 1.
The two players have the same base total, so it depends on their natural talents and techniques, after Feats Jiro leads with 29-28. Now he uses Slice Serve, Gin attempts to finish it with Hadokyuu but Jiro counters that move with Rising Shot (can he do that!?:blink).

Winner: Jiro, Ken

People, send me your pick lists!

That's the preliminary pick list. I still haven't received and word from Sherlock on his true pick, but that's my guess. It won't affect any of you though. Only thing the "prize" affects is the first 3 of each 1st pick of each tier (mouthful).

High Tier:
1st High Tier: Sherlock Holmes, Sai the Shaman, KuwabaraTheMan, javimgol, chaosmaster1991, -Ken-, pikaire87, Zatono, Jane Marple
2nd High Tier: javimgol (Only one without a starting High Tier)

Mid tier:
1st Mid Tier: Sai the Shaman, Sherlock Holmes, KuwabaraTheMan, javimgol, chaosmaster1991, -Ken-, pikaire87, Zatono, Jane Marple
2nd Mid Tier: javimgol, chaosmaster1991, -Ken-, pikaire87, Zatono, Jane Marple, Sai the Shaman, Sherlock Holmes, KuwabaraTheMan
3rd Mid tier: chaosmaster1991, -Ken-, pikaire87, Zatono, Jane Marple, Sai the Shaman, Sherlock Holmes, KuwabaraTheMan

Low tier:
1st Low Tier: KuwabaraTheMan, Sai the Shaman, Sherlock Holmes, javimgol, chaosmaster1991, -Ken-, pikaire87, Zatono, Jane Marple
2nd Low Tier: -Ken-, pikaire87, Zatono, Jane Marple, Sai the Shaman, Sherlock Holmes, KuwabaraTheMan, javimgol, chaosmaster1991
3rd Low Tier: pikaire87, Zatono, Jane Marple, Sai the Shaman, Sherlock Holmes, KuwabaraTheMan, javimgol, chaosmaster1991, -Ken-
