The plot and the art is seinen-like, the fights are shonen-like. It may be a little bit heavier than other reads, but it's a perfect combination.

Is that so? I always thought Hitsugaya was pretty cool. The only thing that annoyed me a bit was how much screentime he got, in the sense that he wasn't even an MC and yet he had like 5 major fights and even an origins flashback before most captains had a single proper fight.

Other than Luppi, every Bleach character is pretty cool to me.

I was joking but eh, in all seriousness, I feel Hitsugaya is very overrated. It's been a very long time since I read/watched Bleach but IIRC he has barely any development or depth and most of his character can be summarized as 'the cool guy' (pun not intended). Again, I only remember vaguely so feel free to correct me.
