i think Mrs. Yukihira will end up like Mr. Takanashi ( Chudeko anime ),
i assume that she doesn't hightly admired in Totsuki since Gin
and any other teacher doesn't really recognize her family's name.
i will say she was a Totsuki student who have no much tallent because
she had such kind of ailment that made her tounge insenseble or something like that, but she enjoys cooking and never give up just like her son.
what next is joichiro want to cook something that she could tell the taste, even from delicious dish to horrieble one but it's not working (joichiro's bad habbit to cook something horrieble was begin from here), then joichiro think that he is a chef who lack of skills, beacuse he could not cook for mrs. yukihira, he was decide to left totsuki and went around the world just to make a dish for mrs. yukihira to be able to tell the taste
