Yes, this forum needs definitely a push. I'm haven't read ANY manga in a while due to university stress. Do you generally prefer reading BL or is it more a byproduct of reading manga in general?

Well, Naruto was the one who brought me back to the anime/manga world in 2009. It is still in my heart and i still follow it weekly.

But the truth is that i have been reading only 3 non-BL mangas: Naruto, Bleach and D.Gray-man.

Most of what i read now is Boys love: Junjou Romantica, Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi, Loveless, No. 6 and Super Lovers. And Love Mode from completed series.

ZE and The tyrant falls in love (Koi suru bokun) just ended or are about to end.

Tyrant will have an epilogue in october. The last chapter was out in the begining of this month iirc.
And there are rumours of a spin-off with Morinaga's brother.

No, it's a Blu yaoi manga. I have never heard of Acid Rain. Is it something you would prescribe?

Haha, well maybe I will look into it. Currently, my home computer is crashed so I am stuck on these crappy school computers. When I finally purchase my laptop I will definatly put it at the top of my list. So I heard that I can make my own kind of "forum" like thread. or what have you. Might you be able to explain how I can? Being new to this site has me kind of lost. I would greatly appreciate if you could assist me. ^-^

Well, you could start a thread for a manga if there isn't any, following the format of other threads.
You can also create a slash thread for a shounen/seinen, also following the title format.

If you create something that already exist, it will be merged with the first thread.

We usually use only one thread for anime and manga of same title.

These are the basics. We also have some extra rules like no shota (Boku no pico is a no-no).

The area where this thread is located can be managed by moderators only, the stickied threads.
The area open for general threads is the one right under it. You can create new threads throught the button located on top left and bottom left, when you see the index of threads.

Big news confirmed for the yaoi world: Viz media (Naruto, Bleach, etc) now have a Boys' Love department called SuBLime.

They presented themselves at YaoiCon. They also answered questions and we can hope to have more titles to come. The best things were certainly the fact that they will be managing old titles that were licensed to other publishings and that they will have an online reader for those that prefer to pay to read mangas online.

I have friends who read yaoi and like it, but I never understood the attraction myself. I have skimmed through some yaoi manga before and didn't find it particularly interesting. So my question is, why do you like yaoi? What makes you want to read it?

I hope I don't sound anti-yaoi in any way; I'm simply curious about what draws readers towards this particular genre.

I find it is pretty interesting, or well known "cute". It all depends on what you like or dislike. Give it a fair shot, if you don't like it then don't feel obligated to. Everyone is different.

You are welcome to post fan art.
The rules are basically the same as for avatar and signature, no explicit front nude, no sex (blow job, fingering, etc).
There is a thread for fan art and coloring.
