Sera, Jinnie, Sosul, and Sahee all fulfill different yet unique roles. It's totally a "wheel of time" situation.

Luffy/Boa Hancock (One Piece)
This might seem like an odd choice to some but...I miss her character sooo much. She needs to reappear and I would happily spend one of my picks to make that happen.

Oga/Hilda though I don't really have a strong preference there because I like everybody involved. I wouldn't really mind if it went Aoi's way. Nene/Furuchi on the other hand...I'm the captain of that ship.

Hahaha, well I had some lets call them "test pairings".

Furuichi x Yolda and Furuichi x Agiel both had promise but there is something to be said for simplicity when it comes to torturing Furuichi. Nene is just the right mix of easy to embarrass and completely dominating that would make for the ideal "Hides her shyness by beating the crap out of him" girl. It's perfect.

You must be one of the few people I remember preferring New Waves to The Breaker part 1. What in your opinion, makes it better?

In a word "Shioon"

The concept of being the head of a martial arts clan adds a layer of complexity that just wasn't there in the first part. It was really just about Shioon and his teacher. Lots of times it almost felt like Han Chan-Woo was the main character completely upstaging the protagonist; which I didn't like all that much.

Part 2 is all about Shioon finding his own way in the martial arts world as the head of a clan. It's about "his" friends and "his" enemies and balancing all of that with who he is. The additions to the cast have also been fantastic, Sera in particular. There is a whole younger generation of colorful martial artist characters that enrich the experience in a way that The Breaker always kind of lacked.

It's peaked my curiosity, that's for sure, but I'm a little concerned about the idea of Noblesse authors starting another series. The author of Ubel Blatt did that and it's resulted in hiatuses. It looks like an interesting series but it definitely wouldn't be worth that.

how many time do you spend on a review?

It usually takes me anywhere from an 45 minutes to an hour and half.

It's a process I've really come to enjoy. Sitting down reading the chapter again and then write everything up; which really makes you think a lot more deeply about what you're reading. Then go through a second time looking for panels I can use for fun captions. Come up with a poll question. Then proof read. Post it. And proof read again.

I totally agree. I'd be sad if that happens as well. Since Noblesse was born first and if it is not finished properly in any way I'd be very mad.
